I had an excellent experience with The Sposa Group Melbourne. I'd been to 4 dress appointments prior to this and hadn't found my dream dress. Marianna really helped me to narrow down what I wanted, and in the end she was the one who picked out my dress for me to try on. She has a very good eye because we all instantly loved it, and I made a deposit that same appointment. She never tried to upsell us, rather we all felt her genuine desire to help. In fact, the dress she picked out was one of the cheapest I had tried on.Throughout my appointment I felt totally at ease and comfortable. Marianna and the rest of the Sposa Group staff were super friendly, and I never felt judged or out of place.At the end of the appointment, once I'd purchased my dress, they took a photo of my family/friend and I in front of their decorative feature wall, so we can keep the memory of the day I found my dress. It was just another little detail that made the day that much more special, and I'm very grateful to have those photos.

Unbelievable !! Firstly we had the amazing Jas, she was extremely attentive, knowledgable, caring, comfortable to speak to and asked questions along the way to ensure I found "the" dress. If you want that classic bridal experience that you see in the movies and "say yes to the dress Atlanta" this is the place for you! The range is amazing, there are so many different styles, designs and brands. Not once did I feel rushed or pushed into making a decision. Even though we had Jas as our person stylist all the other woman we interacted with were extremely polite, lovely and approachable.I attended another boutique that was very small, barely had a range and felt like I was on display to the other brides and the public (in the window), my experience at the Sposa Group was the opposite. It was private as the dressing rooms are towards the back, there are boards in the window as backdrops for the mannequins so you can't see in and there are racks upon racks of beautiful dresses!This is a must if you are searching for your wedding dress! You will not be disappointed !! And yes, I found my dress here!

The best experience I had shopping wedding dresses! I was assisted by Jas and Marianna- both were extremely professional, warm and knew their stock inside and out (including possible customisation). I loved that they provided recommendations and were able to read me very well and provide clarity during what can be a confusing process. They helped me build my dream dress! The shop is also so lovely, clean and light filled with so much choice (including affordability) without being too overwhelming.(Only negative I’d say is I don’t love that Saturday appointments are more expensive as it’s a little unfair to people who work full time)

Management made mistakes, blamed me for it, and subsequently... I had to pay for their mistake, both in my time and cost!....I was in between dress sizes and I was paying extra for a corset/lace up back. Management insisted I get a dress a size up, even through I mentioned that the smaller size would more appropriate due to the corset. Once I received the dress, it didn't fit me as expected (in fact was hanging off me). Although I trust management's recommendations, I was made to feel blamed for this incident and management failed to take any accountability for their role in the decision making. I was left to pay extra alterations costs due to their recommendation to get the bigger size, on top of the cost I initially paid for the lace up back.Additionally, I didn't received a follow up to book my alterations appointment, which I was told they were going to contact me to organise. When I did called to book the appointment, management proceeded to place the blame on me that I hadn't already booked this appointment and didn't take accountability for the delay and their mistake. As a result, my alterations appointment was 4 weeks after their suggested date, unnecessarily adding extra stress before my wedding as there were significant alterations to be had due to the dress being the wrong size which was only ready to be picked up 1 week before my wedding.The consultants and alterations girls were so lovely and so patient and in the end my dress was lovely.Unfortunately it was the management that did not give me a good experience as a whole. The added stress and chaos only weeks before my wedding could 100% have been avoided. The communication, expertise and accountability of the management was clearly lacking; not only towards client, but towards their staff.

The staff threw themselves into helping me find something it was all hands on and no fuss! The women there are truely sensational! Highly recommend going here their variety is sensational!

I had an appointment here last week after a friend had recommended this store. Appointment cost $50 (not uncommon) however it was quite a hot day and we weren’t offered water let alone bubbles (like all other stores offered). Unable to take any photos in dresses but will email you photos from the website, which is pointless as I can’t compare what I look like in a dress to what their 6ft size 6 model looks like in a dress. Didn’t take any of my measurements and told me I would have to come back for a second appointment in order to do so (we still had 30 minutes left of the appointment when we left so weren’t running short on time). The woman helping me, Athena, make me feel quite uncomfortable and was extremely rude. Snapped at me for saying I wanted a white dress because ‘they don’t sell white dresses only ivory’ and snapped at my mother for calling a dress with no lace, beading or embroidery etc ‘plain’. There are so many other better bridal stores in Melbourne, with much nicer dresses and incredible staff, I wouldn’t waste your time here or spend a cent.

I purchased my dress at Sposa for my wedding that was a few weeks ago.Jas helped me at the earlier stage to pick out the dress. She was patient and knowledgeable, and would give me suggestions about what looked good on me. This was very helpful as I was dress shopping by myself. Jas was very open with what kind of dress I wanted, I had a couple of a appointments and end up purchasing a semi-custom dress that was a mix of 2 different dresses that I like. Jas was so knowledgeable that she already gave me an idea of how much the dress would cost with alterations - to make sure it was still within my budget.My wedding dress came about 5 months later. I picked it up no issues, and about 6 weeks before my wedding I brought it back in for alterations. The in-house alteration service is super helpful, as they know when your wedding is, they'll help with scheduling everything and making sure it is done on time. They are also very competent.On my fitting appointment, I had Lefy who is such a nice lady. She made sure I liked the alterations that was needed, and spoke to me about the complications around the hem (as there was some lace at the bottom) and more alterations needed on the bust. With everything required she managed to keep everything within my budget.I brought 2 friends to my last fitting appointment, and Lefy was very attentive and accommodating, and did more alterations on my body. Very very happy with how it all fits together at the end. The dress was super flattering on my body!! I could not ask for a better dress.Last but not least, as I've come over so many times, Chelsea always greeted me with a smile, made sure I didn't panic when I once misread my appointment times which I really appreciate. Best place to get your wedding dress, I recommend 100%!

I found my beautiful dress (a dress I didn't know I'd even like but purely tried on for the fabric) and trusted Marianna's guidance on sizing. I couldn't have done better! I looked at about five dress boutiques but couldn't go past the quality and beauty of the dresses at Sposa. Mariana, Persia and the team helped me find my wedding dress, they made the experience so comfortable and special. I wasn't pressured to go above my budget or anything like that. and I also had alterations done there. The work was absolutely faultless, the dress fitted me like a glove. I live in the area and have passed this store multiple times, during my bridal dress hunt, I never looked into this place originally due to the dresses in the window not being the style i was going for at all, but then I stumbled upon it online and saw the amazing reviews and decided to give the store a go as I wasn't having much luck elsewhere. And I am so glad I did!!! I had a wonderful experience, I was helped by multiple lovely consultants who together helped me find the shape, fabric and cut off my dream dress. I was blown away by the kindness and creativity and all for such an affordable price. I loved the bottom of one dress and the top of another and since they were the same designer they said they can custom make it for me! I'm getting a custom dress for such a great price and at a store I can't wait to go back too for my fittings!

I could not recommend the Sposa group enough!I went in knowing the style and look of my dream dress and Amelia was so attentive and didn't make me feel bad for wanting a dress with no lace or embellishments. She listened to everything that I was saying that I either liked or disliked about the dresses I tried on. She took in all the information she had gathered about my style and recommended some dresses that I would have never chosen for myself that ended up being my dress!I did go to other stores after Sposa as I felt I should shop around as Sposa was the first boutique I had gone to. Big mistake!After being stood up by one store, then going to another where the guy "looking after" me gave me such a bad attitude after not liking the dresses he put me in (that were disgusting and covered in makeup stains, and the stitching was stretched) and other stores that just had bad vibes, I knew I needed to go back to Sposa and say "yes" to my dress.The environment is clean and beautiful, the dresses are clean, the staff are amazing and so so soooo helpful.I wouldn't bother going to any other place.

We did the private experience with champagne and the platters. Honestly beyond happy with the service and the food and bubbles were amazing! We had such a wonderful time and enjoyed having the beautiful space to ourselves. More importantly I felt so comfortable and reassured for the whole experience, the knowledge the team have and the time and care they take to understand you and your day but to also find and ‘fit’ the dress they truly go above and beyond to help you visualise every detail. You won’t get service like this anywhere else, it was truly appreciated from a nervous and unsure bride to be. I’ll forever be thankful for this experience. Cannot recommend highly enough. I originally flew to Melbourne from Brisbane (where I live) to go wedding dress shopping with my mum. I had a store and dress in mind when traveling to Melbourne. I then stumbled across the Sposa Group on my last day in Melbourne and was greeted by the wonderful Marianna and Chelsea. I am the most indecisive person ever but Marianna was so patient and kind with me. She actually spent time with me (unlike other stores where you’re rushed out the door). She really got to know me and the style of dress I was after. After leaving the store I could not stop thinking about a particular dress that I had tried on. I decided to fly back again and Marianna spent more time with me, allowing me to fully customise a Demetrios wedding gown. I was sold! Since the initial appointment Marianna has spent countless hours with me either over the phone or in person or at alterations. She even came in on her day off! Btw the alterations team at Sposa were also amazing and worked tirelessly to ensure my gown fitted like a glove. In my time shopping for wedding dresses and also for friends wedding dresses, I’ve gone to 40+ bridal stores and there is no store like the Sposa Group. They just go above and beyond.
