Tell us about your proposal
Jacob proposed at my 30th birthday party in the butterfly house at the Melbourne Zoo. He had set up a display with a 'book of love' he had made and the proposal was witnessed by our families and best friends who were on a private tour of the zoo before the party.
Tell us about your wedding dress. How was your experience when you were searching for "The One"?
I bought the Tiana gown which I instantly fell in love with in my first appointment at Sposa. I visited two other boutiques, but my heart kept coming back to the Tiana gown. The intricate details in the beading are so beautiful. It is a true princess dress and made me feel beautiful every time I put it on.
Describe a favourite highlight or two from your wedding day.
The ceremony was definitely a highlight, especially because all day leading up to it the weather had been raining on and off. Then for the one hour of our ceremony and photographs, the clouds cleared and the sun came out and beamed down. It was beautiful!
Our first dance was very special as we'd been practicing and it was hard not to reveal what my dress looked like, so on the day it was amazing to share a dance together in my dream gown.
