How did you meet your spouse?
Paul had just gotten a new car and he had promised when he got the car we would go for a nice drive and have lunch somewhere. So when the day came he was as cool as a cucumber, we hoped in the car and drove up to Montalto in Red Hill. When we got there Paul said he had a surprise for me and instead of lunch in the restaurant he arranged a picnic lunch. It started off with a wine tasting, then they gave us a map to find our private and secluded picnic spot. When we found the spot it was a beautiful set up with a table and heater and lunch prepared in the eski. And as we were sitting having lunchPaul got one one knee with a beautiful ring. Of course I said yes!
Tell us about your wedding dress. How was your experience when you were searching for "the one"?
The Sposa Group was the first and only place I went to. I went to try on a dress I saw on their website. I went with Mum and Dad. I tried on the dress I went for and looked like a marshmallow, I then tried on 2 others and the third, which was the one Mum picked, was the one. I loved it. It was a Demetrios dress it was unusual and comfortable and we all got emotional so I knew it was the one. There was a few changes I wanted to make to it and the Sposa team were able to accommodate every single change without a worry and in the end. It was perfect. Honestly, Marianna was so helpful in picking my dress, she made me feel so comfortable and made the perfect whole process so easy. The ladies that did the alterations did it perfectly and made the changes exactly how I hoped!!
Describe a favourite highlight or two from your wedding day
It’s so hard to pick!!! Seeing Paul in the church, when I arrived and seeing everyone on the dance floor at the reception. After the year that 2020 was, it was a dream come true seeing everyone dancing and happy.
Do you have any advice for couples currently planning their wedding?
With Covid it’s unpredictable and stressful planning a wedding. Remember why your getting married and focus on being there for each other and loving each other and you’ll get through it.
