How did you meet your spouse?
We met on a diving trip at the Great Barrier Reef in 2012.
Tell us about your proposal
He proposed on a beautiful deserted beach in Fiji after we went diving with lots of bull sharks. It was an epic day! I was so confused and caught off guard that I responded: “Are you serious."
Tell us about your wedding dress. How was your experience when you were searching for "The One"?
Amazing! It was the first dress I tried on when I came with my mom who was visiting from the Netherlands for a few days. I knew it was the one. I tried to look further, but I never found another dress more beautiful than the first one.
Describe a favourite highlight or two from your wedding day.
Having friends and family from all over the world stay together for an entire weekend. The beautiful weather despite the whole month being rainy and cold. The happiness of the entire event. Our champagne shower entry.
Do you have any advice for couples currently planning their wedding?
Don’t sweat the small details, you won’t even notice them on your big day. There’s so much happening that your main focus is on your future spouse and your guests.
