How did you meet your spouse?

We swiped right on a dating app followed by a coffee catch up a week later, and the rest is history!

Tell us about your proposal

After a long day in the office in the city, we had dinner at our favourite Thai restaurant by the beach. It was a perfect day the weather was lovely, and sun was out. We finished our meal and I suggested that we go to the beach for a walk. As I was heading to the beach ready for our post meal stroll, George suggested this time we walk along the pier. So I did and as I turned to watch the sunset and reflect on my day, George got on his knee to propose. I was in shock almost to tears. My son was with us and he quickly took the iPhone to record the proposal. Both he and George had planned this together. Extra special.

Tell us about your wedding dress. How was your experience when you were searching for "The One"?

My wedding dress was from the Cosmobella Collection - Style 8125. A beautifully embroidered lace dress with illusion neckline and lace button sleeves and back. I customised my dress to include further lace detailing at the bottom of the tulle skirt. The skirt was A-line which featured a soft chapel train. I never thought in my wildest dreams that there could be " the dress" for me. The moment I tried on the Cosmobella dress it was a definite YES !!!! The lace, tulle skirt and level of detail was gold standard and incredibly unique too. I received soooo many compliments about my dress you could not remove the smile from my face all day.

Thank you to the team at The Sposa Group Melbourne. From the moment I chose the dress to the alterations and fittings. Exceptional service and care each step of the way.

Describe a favourite highlight or two from your wedding day.

My favourite highlight was my son walking me down the aisle on our special day. The second highlight was that I truly felt like a princess in my dress, dancing all night moving freely. It was like a dream.
