How did you meet your spouse?
George and I first met when we were studying together at university.
Tell us about your proposal
George proposed on my birthday in July 2021. It was the day before we were going into another lockdown. He organised a cute picnic in a spot in the park close by where we used to walk after finishing uni. His sister was hiding behind a tree nearby recording the whole thing. Then he popped the question and it was super sweet! That night we went out to dinner with our families to celebrate both my birthday and the proposal!
Tell us about your wedding dress. How was your experience when you were searching for "The One"?
I had the beautiful Esme gown. We changed the neckline and removed the cones from the front and it was honestly so beautiful! My dream dress! I had tried on multiple other gowns, but there was just something about this dress that I just fell in love with.
Describe a favourite highlight or two from your wedding day.
Everything about our day was amazing! Everyone was just so happy, and everyone had a great time and to me that was a massive highlight.
Do you have any advice for couples currently planning their wedding?
Don't stress! Everything will fall into place and the day goes so quickly, so always remember to enjoy it!
