How did you meet your spouse?
We met online!
Tell us about your proposal
At Reeds Lookout - overlooking Mount Buffalo where Nik grew up. We hiked 11km up the mountain, and Nik was taking photos of me looking out at the views the whole way.
At Reeds lookout after another "view shot" I turned around and he was on one knee.
His sister Tash met us at the top with champagne at the Mt Buffalo Chalet. She then drove us down the mountain to an airbnb in Bright Nik had booked as a surprise. We then went out for a degustation dinner.

Tell us about your wedding dress. How was your experience when you were searching for "The One"?
I had always thought I would wear a v-neck dress, until I met Marianna at The Sposa Group who picked some dresses for me to try on. The dress she picked, that I originally would never have chosen, was the one!
The feeling you get when you try on "the one" is amazing - you can't stop smiling and crying all at the same time! I am so grateful that The Sposa Group was so supportive in this moment for me.

Describe a favourite highlight or two from your wedding day.
Our first dance was one of my highlights - because we made it fun! It was awesome to get some photos of us having a laugh during the dance...these are some of my favourite pictures.

Do you have any advice for couples currently planning their wedding?
Take at least a week off before your wedding to finalise all the important bits and pieces such as bills, crafts, spray tan/hair/nails etc. I had time off work and still felt SO BUSY! I don't know how I would have done it if I didn't have this time off.
Book your suppliers as far in advance as possible (more than a year if you can), and start looking for your dress early. The more dresses you try on the more comfortable you will feel with what style suits you best. Don't be worried if the styles you like aren't what you thought they'd be or if they change over time - trust the experts!
For outdoor weddings - organise to place wet weather coverage (like marquees) on hold in advance - waiting for a few weeks out for the weather forecast may mean marques are already sold out. However, you can place them on hold 12 months in advance just in case.
