How did you meet your spouse?
Nicholas purchased my personal vehicle I was selling. So technically I met him on Car Sales haha.
Tell us about your proposal
Nick arranged a nice romantic dinner for the two of us. I was very excited as it was at a nice fancy restaurant near the beach. Getting ready and throughout the night, he was acting a bit quiet, but I shrugged it off. The minute dinner finished, the surprise dessert came out and when I looked back up Nick was on one knee asking the question. Was such a wonderful night and he got let off for acting so strange, he was nervous!
Tell us about your wedding dress. How was your experience when you were searching for "The One"?
When I began the journey to find my dream wedding dress, it was a mix of excitement and nerves. I had a vision of what I wanted – something elegant and timeless. As I browsed through multiple different Bridal Stores, The Sposa Group definitely caught my eye. Looking through the racks of beautiful gowns, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the beautiful variety. But when I finally slipped into 'The One,' I knew it instantly. The dress was a perfect reflection of my style and personality. It was such an emotional moment, it truly made me realise I was about to be a bride and I couldn't wait to walk down the aisle in that dress, feeling like the most beautiful version of myself. I could not have done it without The Sposa Group the whole team were absolutely fantastic and I was very sad the day I picked up my dress knowing I wasn't coming back for another fitting.
Describe a favourite highlight or two from your wedding day.
I have many favorite highlights of our wedding day but the two that stood out the most would firstly be walking down the aisle. I will never forget the feeling of this moment, extremely excited and also extremely nervous. It was truly amazing having my dad by my side and seeing how happy Nick was, he didn't take his eyes off me as I was walking towards him and feeling all the love around me from our family and friends. Another highlight of our wedding day would be how much fun everyone was having at the reception, my husband and I did not get off the dance floor and in this moment we took a minute to ourselves to watch all of our loved ones celebrating this wonderful day with us. It was such a special moment we shared together, and we can truly say our wedding day was the best day of our lives.
Do you have any advice for couples currently planning their wedding?
Wedding planning is very exciting, emotional and extremely overwhelming so take a deep breath and take it all in because before you know it, the day comes, and it goes so quickly so soak it all in and enjoy every bit of it!
