How did you meet your spouse?
We meet on Tinder in 2017 and went on our first date to the Melbourne Zoo and bought Grill’d for lunch. It was the best first date, fun and an adventure.
Tell us about your proposal
We were at Portsea on Boxing Day 2022. Sam took me, my mum, my dad, and my step sister to the chair on the cliff where he asked me to be his girlfriend many years before. Sam got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
Tell us about your wedding dress. How was your experience when you were searching for "The One"?
I was really nervous to start looking for my perfect dress. I was very lucky that the first dress I tried on was the one. Vesna was amazing and picked the perfect dress to fit my brief. Vensa made me feel very comfortable and listened to me. Finding my dream dress was an incredible experience that I was lucky to do with my mum.
Describe a favourite highlight or two from your wedding day.
My favourite part of my wedding day was seeing my now husband for the first time. The smile on his face will be embedded in my brain forever. Walking towards him seemed like it took forever and seconds all at the same time. I will never forget the feeling of seeing him.
Do you have any advice for couples currently planning their wedding?
Have fun and enjoy the process. You only get one shot at it, and you want to make sure your enjoy it. Include your partner on everything too, doing it together is so important.
