How did you meet your spouse?
We met at a bar!
Tell us about your proposal
He proposed at our Christmas work break up in front of all our family and friends. We were in the middle of announcing the winner of our dress up party, the theme was to come dressed up as the first letter of our first name. Luke came as a lion, me as a mexican lol.
During the speech he nervously cleared his throat and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him in front of hundreds. I was speechless...

Tell us about your wedding dress. How was your experience when you were searching for "The One"?
I LOVED my wedding dress. I went in with one vision and came out with the complete opposite. I was so comfortable with Jasmine during the process, I even let her choose dresses for me to try on and then she came out with the most gorgeous dress.... I couldn't say no.

Describe a favourite highlight or two from your wedding day.
1. From the day we started planning our wedding it wasn't just about the two of us becoming one, I was marrying a Maori and I'm so drawn to his culture its unexplainable. Our wedding day was bringing two families and cultures together.
2. Walking down the aisle and seeing Luke there crying and placing my hand into his for the first time as his wife.

Do you have any advice for couples currently planning their wedding?
Enjoy the process of planning, all the material stuff doesn't mean anything on the day. The day is about celebrating the love between you both, anything extra is a bonus.
