How did you meet your spouse?

My partner and I have known each other since childhood. He lived overseas and through constant communication we slowly became more attached to one another. After this I went overseas to see him and things progressed. We got engaged overseas surrounded by all our family and friends, and I returned home. Due to Covid-19 we weren’t able to see each other for two and a half years. When he was finally allowed to travel he came to Australia and we started to plan our wedding.

Tell us about your wedding dress. How was your experience when you were searching for "The One"?

The only store I visited was The Sposa Group. Initially, my mum, best friend and I had chosen five dresses to try on to begin with. After trying on four gorgeous dresses, I tried on the fifth one. As soon as I wore the dress I knew it was The One. My mum and best friends were obsessed. After discussing with the bridal stylist, I decided to go home and have a think about it, however when I left I knew I wasn’t going anywhere else. So I returned a week after and purchased the dress.

Describe a favourite highlight or two from your wedding day.

My favourite part from my wedding day was celebrating my partner and I’s love with all the people we love and appreciate.

Do you have any advice for couples currently planning their wedding?

Enjoy the process and big day because it all moves so fast and with all the things that need to be planned, you forget to enjoy the moment. If anything doesn’t go the way you planned, it’s fine, don’t stress and continue to enjoy the biggest day of your life!
