Nikita wore a custom Rhea gown by Dylan Parienty
How did you meet your spouse?
We met on a Contiki tour in Thailand.

Tell us about your proposal
Alex proposed in January 2024 while we were holidaying in Thailand, the country we had met in a decade earlier.

Tell us about your wedding dress. How was your experience when you were searching for "The One"?
It was pretty stressful up until my first day at The Sposa Group. I had been to 6 other boutiques and tried on around 40 dresses. I was starting to think I wouldn’t have ‘the moment’, until I put on the Rhea gown.

Describe a favourite highlight or two from your wedding day.
Being one-on-one with Alex and having our photos taken - which is funny, because I was so nervous about it and thought it would be an uncomfortable process. It was so special and felt like we were the only two people on the planet.
Having my 80 year old Pop walk me down the aisle to the man I’d spent 10 years adoring was a dream come true.

Do you have any advice for couples currently planning their wedding?
It will all work out. And if something doesn’t, you won’t even care on the day. Enjoy every little moment, because it’s over in a flash.
