How did you meet your spouse?
We met through mutual friends over 10 years ago - started as friends, which then blossomed.
Tell us about your proposal
Dean's initial plans to propose in Japan came to an end when COVID hit and travel plans were cancelled. Rather, it was a romantic, beautiful surprise proposal at home during lockdown, which was completely memorable and special.
Tell us about your wedding dress. How was your experience when you were searching for "The One"?
My wedding dress was all that I could have dreamed of and more. For such a big dress, it was so comfortable and I felt absolutely incredible on the day. The Sposa Group was the first dress shop I went to, and it did not disappoint. I had a rough idea of the style I wanted, and tried on 2 styles which I adored. The lovely attendant then suggested a third style that she thought would suit me (completely different to the first two I had tried), and this turned out to be the one! I couldn't be more grateful for the assistance and advice provided during my dress search/fitting process.
Describe a favourite highlight or two from your wedding day.
The highlight was of course having all of our favourite people together, but on top of this, having grandparents on the dancefloor and memorable speeches really made for some highlights we will never forget!
