How did you meet your spouse?
During COVID lockdown we met on tinder. We didn’t live far from each other which was good during that time!
Tell us about your proposal
We were travelling Japan in 2023 and we spent a day out in Kyoto. During our trip around Kyoto we visited many amazing places, and whilst we were walking Hanamikoji Street in the heart of Kyoto Dale proposed. We then celebrated and partied in Osaka that night!
Tell us about your wedding dress. How was your experience when you were searching for "The One"?
I had no idea what I was looking for when I had my appointment at Sposa. I picked a bunch of beautiful dresses, the first one I found I wasn’t too sure about but thought I’d give it a go first. As soon as I tried it on I knew it was my dress! (This also happened to my sisters who also got their dresses at Sposa, we all chose the first dresses we tried on). It was a special moment with my family and from that day I couldn’t stop thinking about the dress.
Describe a favourite highlight or two from your wedding day.
Walking down the aisle to the Backstreet Boys in the most beautiful wedding dress! Having an amazing team from my hair dresser to my makeup artist, the whole day was so special because of the people around me. Also my absolute favourite thing at parties are photo booths, so I had the best Photo Booth!
Do you have any advice for couples currently planning their wedding?
Keep it simple and make it a day you want!
