How did you meet your spouse?
We met at a party years ago, and remained friends. Then one day I noticed on Facebook that Troy was 'in my local area' at a restaurant so I hit him up to chat and we grew from there!
Tell us about your proposal
We had a huge day out exploring and ended it with the best sunset ever at one of our first date spots, Brighton beach. I cried A LOT it was such a beautiful moment. Afterwards, Troy told me he was trying to propose all day but was waiting for the perfect moment. We go there all the time still - it holds a special place for us!
Tell us about your wedding dress. How was your experience when you were searching for "The One"?
I never thought I'd take a risk on a strapless dress, but Amelia made me feel game enough to try it on and it felt like a dream! I really didn't know what I was after dress wise - I'm not someone who grew up daydreaming about my wedding. I just wanted something that made me feel good, and like myself. My dress was so light and summery - the perfect vibes for me!
The experience at Sposa was great! Amelia was the biggest hype girl, and was always honest with me. I couldn't recommend her more highly! I felt so comfortable and at ease with her and can't thank her enough (and Chelsea at reception who was always answering my silly emails haha! You were amazing thank you for keeping my confidence up when I was always second guessing myself).
Describe a favourite highlight or two from your wedding day.
One of my favourite highlights was getting ready together - we wanted our day to feel like a party, and celebrate with our friends and family so we did our first look and photos together just us! It was amazing, and a very special moment to spend all that extra time together. It made the day perfect.
